Welcome to the web site of Barnsley Cricket Club
Our club has a large number of teams which cater for most ages and varying levels of ability. We have 
strong connections with Yorkshire County Cricket Club. Over the years, a number of Barnsley CC players have been selected to play for Yorkshire and England.
Ours is a beautiful ground with excellent facilities, situated just outside the town centre. We are always pleased to welcome new supporters and members. Please come along.
Please note that due to health issues, Shaw Lane is a DOG FREE (even well behaved dogs) area.

England Women Coast to victory at Shaw Lane
England women coasted to a 9 wicket victory at Shaw Lane in the 4th Womens One Day International, to take a series victory over New Zealand.

Yorkshire Women now to play at Shaw Lane.
Yorkshire Women are to play two fixtures at Shaw Lane in the First Division of the L.V. County Championship.
On Sunday 29 August, they welcome leaders Kent Women to South Yorkshire, and then 7 days later Berkshire Women are the visitors.
All three teams will have representatives from the successful England women's cricket side, Yorkshire have Barnsley's own Katherine Brunt and Danielle Hazell in their squad, Kent have England captain Charlotte Edwards and Lydia Greenway in their ranks, whilst Berkshire have Isa Guha, Heather Knight and Claire Taylor in their squad.
Yorkshire currently lie third in the table after their promotion from Division two last season, with 3 wins from their 5 games to date.
Both games are of 50 overs duration and start at 11am.

The Club shop has now been completely revamped and a large range of kit
